Neither in the traditional sense. Libertas is a sponsorship group inside eXp Realty. Libertas is the support system, coaching, technology, designations, and community wrapped around your eXp membership.
Libertas is built for producing agents, team leaders, brokerage owners, and serious new agents who want better systems, real coaching, real designations, and a long-term wealth-building model — without paying extra for any of it. You do not have to be at eXp Realty or in Libertas to be a Harris coaching client. That said, traditionally about 50% of agents in Harris coaching programs are also Libertas | eXp Realty agents — because once they experience the coaching, many decide to move their brokerage to eXp and join Libertas to access the same coaching for free, plus the full revenue share, stock, and benefits stack.

$60 per transaction, capped at $750 per year. That's it. No separate annual E&O policy required.
No. Just one $85/month fee covers you nationally at eXp. Many traditional brokerages charge per-state fees — eXp doesn't.

Every Libertas partner agent gets a personalized URL — for example, whylibertas.com/dan or whylibertas.com/jane. The site is branded to you with your name, photo, and contact info, and it presents the full eXp + Libertas value proposition. You text or email the link to any agent you're talking to, and the site does the explaining for you. A $1,000+ value, hosted free, with no monthly fee.
Yes — when you sponsor an agent into Libertas AS PRIMARY SPONSOR, every benefit you receive from Libertas (Premier Coaching, EREP designation, Harris Certified Coach, HyperFast, FastCap, the Real Estate Treasure Map, DISC, Podcasting for Profit, the recruiting site, concierge support, all of it) is automatically extended to that agent, and to every agent they sponsor as primary, all the way down through your 7-tier downline. The value flows through you to your entire primary-sponsored downline.
Important clarification on co-sponsorship: Libertas benefits flow where Libertas revenue share flows. When a Libertas Partner is the PRIMARY sponsor or CO-SPONSOR of an agent, that agent gets the full benefit stack. If an agent's primary sponsor is outside Libertas AND they don't have a Libertas Partner co-sponsor, the Libertas benefits don't apply to them — because revenue share isn't flowing back to support those benefits.
Yes, Libertas is right for you. You are not required to sponsor a single agent. Most Libertas agents focus primarily on their own production. The recruiting tools are available if you ever want them, but the coaching, designations, training, business planning, technology, and community alone are worth the move.
No experience needed. The Libertas system is built for agents who've never recruited a day in their life. You don't pitch, you don't chase — you point agents to your personalized WhyLibertas site, the system explains the value, and Libertas leadership backs you up on every conversation. We do the heavy lifting; you have the conversations.
Yes — Libertas Partners can serve as co-sponsors. Here's how it works: when a Libertas Partner is named as your co-sponsor, that Libertas Partner earns Tier 1 revenue share and the Fast Start Bonus from your transactions, and in return you receive the full Libertas benefit stack ($40,000+ value) — Premier Coaching, EREP designation, Harris Certified Coach, HyperFast, FastCap, the Real Estate Treasure Map, DISC, Podcasting for Profit, the personalized recruiting site, and concierge support. Important: Libertas benefits are tied to a Libertas Partner being your primary sponsor OR co-sponsor. If neither, the Libertas benefits don't apply — because revenue share isn't flowing back to support them.
The eXp Co-Sponsor Program launched May 1, 2025. When a new agent joins eXp, they can name both a primary sponsor and a co-sponsor. The co-sponsor occupies the Tier 1 position in revenue share above the new agent and earns Tier 1 revenue share plus a Fast Start bonus (50% of revenue share in the agent's first year). The primary sponsor sits at Tier 2 and earns Tiers 2-7 plus stock awards and FLQA credit. Both sponsors earn — neither one's earnings reduce the other's. The co-sponsor must be selected within 5 days of joining eXp.
When a Libertas Partner is your co-sponsor, you get the full $40,000+ Libertas benefit stack — Premier Coaching, EREP designation, Harris Certified Coach, HyperFast, FastCap, Treasure Map, DISC, Podcasting for Profit, the personalized recruiting site, and concierge support. Your Libertas Partner earns Tier 1 revenue share plus the Fast Start Bonus (up to $4,000) on your first-year transactions, which funds the value stack you receive in return. It's a real partnership — they invest in your success, you invest in theirs, and you both win as your business grows.
Yes, you keep your current primary sponsor. Co-sponsorship doesn't change your primary sponsor — it adds a second leader to your support structure. Your primary sponsor continues to earn Tiers 2-7 revenue share plus stock and FLQA credit. You add a Libertas Partner as your Tier 1 co-sponsor. The Libertas Partner earns Tier 1 rev share plus the Fast Start Bonus, and in exchange you unlock the full Libertas benefit stack ($40,000+ value). Both sponsors win, you win, and the benefits are properly funded.
If you're already in conversation with a specific Libertas Partner, complete the contact form on their site (whylibertas.com/[their name]) or text them directly — their cell is on the site. If you haven't chosen a Libertas Partner yet, text Tim Harris directly at 512-758-0206. Either way, the Libertas Partner who co-sponsors you becomes your Tier 1 sponsor for revenue share, and you unlock the full $40,000+ Libertas benefit stack. Co-sponsor selection must be completed within 5 days of joining eXp.
The co-sponsor earns Tier 1 revenue share (up to 3.5% of the new agent's GCI, up to $2,800/year on that agent) PLUS the Fast Start Attraction Bonus — 50% of the standard Fast Start Bonus, up to $2,000 of the $4,000 total. Earnings continue for as long as the agent stays at eXp. None of this reduces what the primary sponsor earns; both sponsors are paid independently from eXp company dollar.
The Fast Start Attraction Bonus rewards sponsors when their newly sponsored agent caps in their first year. Sponsors can earn up to $4,000 (in North America) or 5% of the agent's GCI while capping. Co-sponsors share in this — they get 50% of the Fast Start Bonus, up to $2,000. It's a way eXp incentivizes you to actively support the agents you bring in during their critical first year.
Yes. Co-sponsor pairings can be international — for example, you can have a primary sponsor in the U.S. and a co-sponsor in Canada (or vice versa). The co-sponsor just has to be outside your primary sponsor's direct 7-level downline.
Co-sponsor changes require approval from eXp and are rarely granted — typically only with a valid reason. Pick carefully the first time. You must select your co-sponsor within 5 days of joining eXp.
The Local Sponsor Partnership program is no longer active. It was replaced by the Co-Sponsor Program on May 1, 2025. The Co-Sponsor Program offers similar benefits with cleaner mechanics and broader eligibility.
Important to understand how this works: Libertas benefits are tied to where Libertas revenue share flows.
Benefits APPLY when:
Benefits DO NOT APPLY when:
The simple rule: Benefits flow where revenue share flows. If Libertas isn't earning at least Tier 1 rev share from an agent, that agent isn't on the Libertas benefit stack.
No. Revenue share from the co-sponsor side does not flow up past the co-sponsor into their upline. If a Libertas agent in your downline becomes a co-sponsor for an agent whose primary sponsor is outside Libertas, ONLY the Libertas agent personally earns the Tier 1 revenue share and Fast Start Bonus from that arrangement. You don't earn Tier 2-7 revenue share from that agent — because the agent's primary sponsor (and their full upline chain) is outside Libertas entirely.
This is why Libertas couples its benefit stack to revenue share flow. The Libertas benefits are funded by the revenue share Libertas earns from each agent. When that rev share isn't flowing to Libertas, the benefits don't extend either.
Both can earn well, but they earn differently:
Primary Sponsor earns:
Co-Sponsor earns:
Co-sponsor earnings are front-loaded and personal — strong first-year payouts, but they stay with the co-sponsor only. Primary sponsor earnings build long-term wealth through the 7-tier downline. Both sponsors earn independently from eXp's company dollar; neither one's earnings reduce the other's.
eXp Realty is the largest publicly traded, cloud-based real estate brokerage in the world — operating in all 50 U.S. states and 20+ countries with 80,000+ agents. The parent company, eXp World Holdings, trades on NASDAQ under ticker AGNT ('Built by Agents. Built for Agents.'). eXp offers an 80/20 commission split with a $16,000 cap, revenue share, stock awards, no desk fees, no royalty fees, no franchise fees, and the largest collaborative agent network in the world. eXp was the #1 brokerage by transactions in 2024.
The 'eXp' in eXp Realty was chosen by founder Glenn Sanford because it's the prefix for many words representing the company's culture: eXceptional, eXperts, eXcellence, eXpectations, eXposure, eXponential, and others.
On May 8, 2026, eXp World Holdings changed its NASDAQ ticker from EXPI to AGNT — coinciding with the acquisition of NextHome, a national franchise network with 500+ franchisees. The new ticker stands for 'Built by Agents. Built for Agents.' and reflects eXp's evolution from a single brokerage into a multi-model platform supporting both the cloud-based eXp Realty model and the NextHome franchise model. For existing shareholders, the change was seamless — the CUSIP didn't change, and no action was required.
Nothing changes for you operationally as a Libertas agent. eXp Realty (the brokerage) continues to operate exactly as it always has — same 80/20 split, same $16,000 cap, same revenue share, same stock program. The AGNT ticker just reflects that the parent company now owns more than one brand (including NextHome). If anything, the multi-model platform makes eXp's long-term position even stronger, which is good news for the AGNT stock you're earning.
eXp Realty has 80,000+ agents globally and is one of the fastest-growing brokerages in the world. Operating in all 50 U.S. states, plus Canada, Mexico, Australia, UK, France, South Africa, Portugal, India, and several other countries.
eXp's headquarters is in Bellingham, Washington, with a handful of physical offices in states that legally require one. Otherwise, eXp is cloud-based — agents work from home, their own offices, or free Regus Business Lounge memberships (over 3,000 Regus coworking locations globally). You can reserve a conference room for client meetings or work between appointments at no cost.
eXp World is the company's 3D virtual campus where 50-60+ hours of live training happen every week. Log in from your phone or computer, use an avatar to walk around the virtual offices, and access training, accounting, tech support, legal questions, and networking with agents from around the world.
When you sponsor an agent into eXp, you earn a share of eXp's revenue from their production for as long as they stay with eXp. Revenue share is paid from company dollar — not from your commission, not from theirs. It's not a pyramid scheme, not an MLM. It's a brokerage-funded passive income model regulated by the SEC because eXp is publicly traded.
Agents you directly sponsor are your Tier 1. Agents they sponsor become your Tier 2. That continues out to Tier 7. Tiers 1-3 unlock automatically. Tiers 4-7 unlock as you sponsor more producing agents (called FLQAs — Frontline Qualifying Agents) or hit production milestones. By Tier 7, a fully-built network can theoretically include 128+ agents feeding revenue share to your business.
Revenue share is paid on the 22nd of every month for the prior month's production. Example: agents in your group generate $50,000 in gross commission in January → about $1,750 in revenue share arrives in your bank account on February 22.
eXp Enterprise is the agent dashboard where you get a real-time view of your sales data, stock awards, revenue share organization, and projected upcoming month's revenue share. Most agents check Enterprise every few days to track growth.
Yes. eXp revenue share is inheritable. It's a real asset you can pass to your heirs. No other major brokerage we know of offers this.
Yes. eXp World Holdings trades on NASDAQ under ticker AGNT (changed from EXPI on May 8, 2026, when eXp acquired NextHome and became a multi-model platform). You earn AGNT stock awards for: closing your first home each year, hitting your $16,000 commission cap, sponsoring an agent who closes their first transaction, and achieving ICON Agent status (top producers can earn up to $16,000 in stock annually for ICON). You can also enroll in the Agent Equity Program — eXp withholds 5% of your commission and uses it to purchase AGNT shares at a 5% discount to closing market price on the last trading day of each month. Opt in or out anytime. Shares are held through Shareworks, viewable in your eXp Enterprise dashboard 24/7.
ICON is eXp's top producer recognition. Achieve ICON status and you can earn up to $16,000 in AGNT stock per year, plus recognition, perks, and culture-leader status within eXp. ICON Agents are role models for the rest of the company.
No. eXp Realty is a publicly traded brokerage on NASDAQ (ticker: AGNT), regulated by the SEC. Revenue share is paid from company dollar — not from agents' commissions. You earn money at eXp the same way you do anywhere else: by selling real estate. Revenue share is an additional income stream that exists because eXp doesn't pay for physical offices and shares that savings with sponsoring agents.
Revenue Share 2.0 is the updated version of eXp's revenue share program. The 7-tier structure didn't change, but eXp added (1) simplified FLQA qualification rules, (2) the Fast Start Attraction Bonus paying up to $4,000 per new sponsored agent in their first year, and (3) the 'Pay Now' feature for instant payouts. In 2023, eXp paid out over $197 million in revenue share to agents.
Pay Now is an optional feature inside My eXp that lets U.S. agents instantly withdraw revenue share earnings as soon as a sponsored agent's transaction closes — rather than waiting for the monthly payout on the 22nd. The cost is just a $1 transaction fee per withdrawal. Great for agents who want to compound revenue share into other investments faster.
FLQA stands for Frontline Qualifying Agent. To count as an FLQA in someone's downline, you need to generate at least $5,000 in gross commission every 6 months. The number of FLQAs you sponsor determines whether you unlock the deeper revenue share tiers (Tiers 4-7). Tiers 1-3 unlock automatically; Tiers 4-7 require either FLQA thresholds or hitting production milestones like ICON status.
In 2023, eXp paid over $197 million in revenue share to agents. eXp is committed to paying 50% of company dollar back to the agents who help the company grow.
You qualify for ICON Agent status three ways (one or the other — not all): (1) Hit your $16,000 cap AND close 20 additional homes after capping, (2) Generate $500,000 in GCI in your anniversary year AND close at least 10 transactions, or (3) Pay the $5,000 ICON qualifying fee. You also have to meet cultural contribution requirements (helping the eXp community). Once you achieve ICON, you can earn up to $16,000 in AGNT stock — effectively making your cap free.
When a co-sponsor is added, the primary sponsor still earns from Tiers 2-7 plus stock awards and FLQA credit — those are not affected. What the primary sponsor gives up is the Tier 1 revenue share from that specific agent (which goes to the co-sponsor) and 50% of the Fast Start Bonus (the co-sponsor gets the other 50%). The primary sponsor doesn't 'lose' money in the bigger picture — they just split the early benefits in exchange for the co-sponsor providing additional support. The agent gets two leaders. Everyone wins.
eXp publishes its full Income Disclosure Statement at exprealty.com/income. Income at eXp varies dramatically by tier — 'Entering' agents (less than 1 year, building their book) earn significantly less than 'Producing' or 'Top Producer' tiers. The data clearly shows that agents who commit more than one year and actively produce move into substantially higher-earning brackets. Earnings include three streams: commission, stock equity, and revenue share. Past results don't predict future earnings, and individual results depend on effort, market conditions, and skill.
eXp Realty paid out more than $220 million in revenue share and equity benefits to agents in 2024 alone. Compare that to 2023 ($197M+ in rev share alone) — the program continues to scale. Cumulative payouts since the program started are in the billions. This isn't a marketing pitch; it's audited public-company numbers (eXp World Holdings is publicly traded on NASDAQ as AGNT).
Beyond the $16K AGNT stock award, ICON Agent status unlocks:
Production paths to ICON:
1. Cap ($16K paid) PLUS close 20 additional homes after capping
2. Generate $500K GCI + close at least 10 transactions
3. Pay the $5,000 ICON qualifying fee
Plus you must meet cultural contribution requirements.

Yes. Every eXp agent gets free access to Canva Pro through eXp — for marketing graphics, social media, listing presentations, print materials, and more. This alone is a ~$120/year value most agents don't realize is included.
Yes — and it's actually Canva Enterprise (not just Canva Pro), which is a major upgrade. Every U.S.-based eXp agent gets free access to Canva Enterprise, fully integrated with eXp branding and listing data. Includes brokerage-approved templates, preloaded brand kits, the eXp Listings app (auto-populate listing data into designs), Magic Write, background remover, and team collaboration features. Most agents pay $120+/year for Canva Pro elsewhere; Canva Enterprise is significantly more expensive when bought separately. Access through your eXp email login at the Canva Enterprise portal.
The eXp Listings app is a Canva Marketplace add-on (search 'eXp Listings Beta' in Canva Apps) that lets you pull your active listings directly into Canva designs with one click. Property photos, pricing, address, and details auto-populate into your marketing templates. Massive time-saver for social media graphics, flyers, and listing announcements.
eXp's Brand & Marketing toolkit gives you the tools, support, and flexibility to create a brand that's authentically you — while staying aligned with eXp's modern, trusted identity. Personal branding flexibility is a major eXp advantage. The only required branding elements are the eXp Realty logo and the phrase 'brokered by eXp Realty.' Beyond that, you build your own brand. Libertas helps you amplify it.
CRM of Choice is eXp's policy giving agents the freedom to pick their own CRM rather than being locked into one platform. kvCORE remains the included default for everyone, but you can integrate or replace it with whatever works best for your business. Freedom, flexibility, and control over your own tech stack — without losing the included tools.
Yes. Every active eXp Realty agent gets complimentary access to Regus Business Lounges worldwide — included in your standard $85/month membership at no extra cost. That's 3,000+ Regus locations across 95+ countries (in the U.S., located in 41 states plus D.C.), including major cities and even destinations like Cape Town, Dubai, and Monte Carlo. The Business Lounges include fully-equipped workspaces, professional administrative support, Wi-Fi, and a great atmosphere for networking with other professionals. Perfect for meeting clients between showings, working between appointments, or having a professional space anywhere you travel — without paying for a traditional office.
Free for all eXp agents:
Available at a discount (paid):
eXp agents get a 16% discount on paid Regus services through the eXp Enterprise Solutions membership. Any paid services must be booked under your eXp Regus account to get the discount.
Once you're an active eXp agent, you sign up for your Regus account using your eXp Passport email address. After signup, you'll receive a Regus Membership number via email along with detailed instructions. You can also download the Regus mobile app to find locations, check in, and book paid services on the go. Important: always use your eXp email when registering so the Business Lounge access stays free and any paid services flow through your eXp Enterprise Solutions membership for the 16% discount. Questions? Contact enterprise.support@regus.com or ask your Libertas Partner for help during onboarding.
eXp World is the virtual campus where eXp's 50-60+ hours of weekly training happens — accessible from any web browser, mobile device, or VR headset. FrameVR.io is eXp World Holdings' browser-based metaverse platform (developed from Virbela) that lets agents create customizable virtual spaces — for team meetings, client tours, training, or branded virtual experiences. eXp has been operating in the metaverse since 2008 — well before 'metaverse' was a buzzword. It's a real competitive advantage for collaboration: an agent in Dorado Beach can stand next to an agent in Denver in a 3D space and work together as if they're in the same room.
Yes. eXp's CRM of Choice program gives agents the freedom to pick their preferred CRM rather than being locked in. kvCORE (now part of BoldTrail / Inside Real Estate) is the default included with your $85/month membership — fully integrated with eXp Enterprise, IDX, and lead management. But you can also bring or use other tools: BoldTrail, Follow Up Boss, HubSpot, Real Geeks, Sierra Interactive, etc. Most agents stick with kvCORE because it's free and works well. Power users sometimes layer additional tools on top or replace it entirely. Your choice.
eXp Luxury is the company's dedicated luxury real estate program — branding, training, tools, and exposure built for agents working in the high-end market. Libertas agents can plug into eXp Luxury directly.
eXp Land & Ranch is the dedicated division for land, ranch, and rural property specialists. Branding, technology, and serious exposure for agents who lead in this niche.
eXp's global referral platform lets you create referral agreements with eXp agents in 20+ countries in seconds. Built-in, secure, and a real income stream for agents whose clients move or invest internationally.
Two paths to qualify for eXp Luxury membership:
Production Route: 3+ closed sides within the last 24 months at $1,000,000+ each, OR 3+ closed sides at the top 10% of your local market.
Certification Route: Complete the eXp Luxury Certification Course — 100% online, self-paced, gives you the tools and insight to thrive as a luxury agent.
Once qualified, you get the eXp Luxury branded identity, syndication through LuxVT (the premium marketing platform used by Sotheby's), exposure across 80+ international luxury platforms, monthly private masterminds, regional rallies, and exclusive events. You can use eXp Luxury's branding OR maintain your personal luxury brand — your choice.
Three paths to qualify:
Production Route: 3 closed sides of 5+ acres each within the last 24 months.
Credential Route: Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) or Equestrian Property Specialist (EPS) designation.
Certification Route: Complete the eXp Land & Ranch Certification course.
Membership includes: custom-branded identity package (brochures, signage, 3-month onboarding), listing syndication to Land.com, LandsofAmerica, LandAndFarm.com, premium publication features (Wall Street Journal), unified dashboards, automated seller reports, instant listing websites, mapping tools (via the Land id partnership — Pro mapping accounts free for members), and a national peer network with biweekly meetings. Visit landandranch.exprealty.com to learn more.
Land id is the advanced mapping platform eXp partnered with — initially championed by the Land & Ranch Division. Land & Ranch members get unlimited access to Land id Pro (browser and mobile) at no cost. Tools include parcel data, property boundary mapping, terrain visualization, soil data, water rights overlays, and market insights. Originally built for rural/recreational properties but useful for any agent dealing with land transactions, complex parcels, or buyer education on property data.
Yes. When you join Libertas, you get full access to our concierge service. We help with your eXp application, license transfer, listing transfer, branding setup, and overall business migration. You don't figure it out alone.
Different from your sponsor. New agents at eXp are paired with a certified local mentor who works with them through their first three transactions for a small mentor fee. The mentor handles the practical mechanics of your early deals while your sponsor (Libertas) handles your business growth, training, and revenue share group. Together: you have a full safety net as a new agent.
Without a doubt — arguably more than anywhere else. New agents at Libertas get free Premier Coaching, FastCap onboarding (Libertas's six-week accelerator), FastStart training (eXp's official new agent program), the Real Estate Treasure Map business planning system, DISC personality assessment, HyperFast training, the EREP designation, a certified local mentor through your first three transactions, and access to a community of producers. You'd pay $10,000+ a year for this combination anywhere else.
Multiple layers: your sponsor (Libertas), your broker (state-level), your mentor (new agents), the eXp World virtual campus support team, the Workplace chat platform (live chat with accounting, transactions, stock services, brokers), and the Expert Care Team including a Premier Desk and Bilingual Desk. Most issues are resolved same-day.
Yes. Libertas leadership — including Tim and Julie — is reachable. Premier Coaching is taught by them and the Harris coaching team daily. You also have access to weekly Libertas masterminds and strategy sessions. When you have a big prospect or a tough deal, you can get help from the top. If you're already working with a Libertas Partner Agent, complete the contact form on their site or text them directly (their cell is on the site). If you haven't chosen a Libertas Partner yet, text Tim Harris directly at 512-758-0206.
Yes. Newly licensed agents (those who haven't completed at least 3 transactions in the prior 12 months) are required to participate in the eXp Mentor Program. During their first 3 transactions, mentee agents have a 60/40 split (including the mentor and program fees). After the 3rd transaction, they move to the standard 80/20 split. The mentor receives a portion of those fees in exchange for guidance through the early transactions. Exception: new agents joining as part of a team can be mentored by the team leader instead of going through the eXp Mentor Program.
GO! Curriculum is the official training program for new agents in the eXp Mentor Program. It's a dynamic, progressive training experience covering real estate fundamentals, sales strategies, lead management, contracts, and modern marketing tactics. Mentees get exclusive access alongside their assigned mentor.
Not anyone. eXp Mentors must complete a Mentor Program certification through eXp University. They're experienced agents who've demonstrated production excellence and undergone formal training to coach new agents. Your assigned mentor is local to your market — they're paired with you by your broker after onboarding.
eXpert Care Desk is eXp's white-glove support team — nearly 24/7 subject matter experts available to handle any agent question or issue. Contact options: phone/text (833) 303-0610 (open 7 days/week, 5am–8pm PT / 8am–5pm ET), email expertcare@exprealty.com, or live chat in eXp World. There's also the eXpert Care HUB at exp.world/expertcarehub — a self-service knowledge center.
eXp has multiple tiered support desks: General Support (for all U.S. and Canada agents), Premier Expert Care Desk (for Beta and ICON agents — top producers get prioritized faster response), Bilingual Desk (English/Spanish and English/French support), and Agent Services. There's also the NO Busters Hotline — if an agent feels an issue wasn't resolved, they can call (833) 341-1466 (NoBusters@exprealty.net) to escalate. This layered service is one reason eXp is called the most agent-centric brokerage in the world.
The NO Busters Hotline is eXp's escalation team. If an agent feels their issue wasn't properly resolved by regular support, they can call (833) 341-1466 (Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm ET / 5am-5pm PT) or email NoBusters@exprealty.net to further explore solutions. eXp's promise: agents shouldn't accept 'no' as a final answer.
More than almost any decision you'll make at eXp. Your primary sponsor is locked in for the entire time you're with the company — to change, you must leave eXp for at least 6 months and rejoin as a new agent. Pick a sponsor with a real value stack, real coaching, real designations, and a real community. That's Libertas.
You can't change your primary sponsor without leaving eXp for at least 6 months. But you can plug into Libertas a different way: through co-sponsorship (if eligible) or by accessing the Libertas community, coaching, and tools as a Premier Coaching client. Text Tim at 512-758-0206 to discuss your specific situation.
No, your sponsor does NOT need to be local. Many agents choose a sponsor based on the value, coaching, and benefits they offer — not geography. Your sponsor can be in another state, even another country. eXp operates as a unified cloud-based brokerage globally. For local market expertise, you can either join a local team OR add a local Libertas Partner as your co-sponsor (within 5 days of joining eXp). Your local broker (assigned by state) handles state-specific compliance, contracts, and legal questions.
No. You never pay your sponsor anything directly. Your sponsor earns revenue share from eXp's company dollar (eXp's 20% split on your transactions) — not from your commission. Sponsoring agents make money by attracting and supporting you, and they're paid by eXp. Your commission stays 100% yours (after the standard 80/20 split and cap structure). Important caveat: Some sponsor groups outside Libertas charge separate monthly fees for their value stack or coaching. Libertas charges $0 — every benefit is free as long as you're sponsored or co-sponsored by a Libertas Partner.
Most other large eXp groups offer some combination of a recruiting site, a Facebook group, a weekly call, and a generic training library. Many charge monthly dues on top of eXp fees. Most do not include daily live coaching from nationally recognized coaches. Most do not award a real industry designation. Most do not certify their agents to coach others. And most do not extend the full benefit stack to every downline agent automatically. Libertas does all of it — and charges $0 on top of eXp.
Many do. Other large eXp groups charge monthly dues, 'tech fees,' or 'mastermind fees' on top of eXp's standard fees. Some require you to buy into a higher tier to access their best coaching or tools. Libertas charges nothing on top of eXp — every benefit is included free, for as long as you're in the group.
Most groups offer something they call coaching — typically a weekly Zoom, a Facebook community, or pre-recorded courses. Few offer daily live coaching led by nationally recognized coaches with a 30+ year track record. Libertas includes full Premier Coaching with Tim & Julie Harris — the same program top producers outside Libertas pay $3,000+/year for.
Almost none do. Most groups offer internal 'training certificates' or branded badges with no industry recognition. Libertas agents earn the Ethical Real Estate Professional (EREP) designation through EthicalRealEstateProfessional.com — a real, verifiable credential clients can look up. It's a trust marker most agents will never have access to.
This is the question most groups don't want asked. In many groups, the founder's value stack is reserved for direct recruits — agents you sponsor get a watered-down version, or have to pay for the full one themselves. At Libertas, every benefit you get is automatically extended to every agent you sponsor, and every agent they sponsor, all the way down. Value flows through you, not around you.
Real Estate Coaching Radio is the #1 daily real estate podcast in the country, hosted by Tim and Julie Harris. Daily breaking news, coaching tactics, and interviews with top producers and industry leaders. Available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Google Podcasts, TuneIn, Pandora, Deezer, and Player.FM. Free for everyone — Libertas members or not — and an easy way to sample the Harris coaching style before committing.
FastStart is eXp Realty's official onboarding training program for new agents — separate from FastCap, which is Libertas's six-week accelerator. FastStart covers the basics of working at eXp; FastCap is Libertas's program to get you to your $16,000 cap as fast as possible. Libertas agents get both.
Yes. eXp offers healthcare benefits to agents, which is rare for a real estate brokerage. Details vary by program — your Libertas sponsor can walk you through what's available.
Yes. The eXp Lead Protection program covers lead registration, referral agreements, and dispute resolution — making sure you get compensated for the leads you generate and the agents you bring into transactions.
Yes. eXp has a dedicated Deed Fraud Protection program with training, red flags, and resources for agents and their clients. Deed fraud is a rising threat — eXp gives you and your clients real tools to spot and prevent it.
Yes. Every new agent at eXp can order a free New Agent Starter Kit, plus access the Quick Start training pathways and a welcome message from CEO Leo Pareja. Libertas agents get all of this plus the full $40,000+ Libertas value stack.
eXp Pay is eXp's internal payment system for sending and receiving payments — referral fees, custom service fees, mentor program fees, and commission payments. Streamlined, integrated with eXp Enterprise, and reduces the friction of moving money between agents.
The Custom Service Fee is an eXp tool that allows one agent to charge another agent a fee per transaction (for services like mentorship, team support, or coaching). The fee is automatically deducted from each transaction by eXp Realty after applicable caps and fees and paid directly to the receiving agent. eXp does NOT keep any portion of this fee.
Culture Centers are eXp's program for agents/teams who have underused physical office space. Become a Culture Center host, set your own services, pricing, and rules — and turn unused square footage into a revenue stream for hosting events, meetings, training, or co-working for other eXp agents.
The Assistant Access Program is a tiered system for granting unlicensed assistants (including virtual assistants) controlled access to eXp tools and platforms. Assistants get only what they need to do their job — no more, no less. Critical for team leaders and high-producing agents who want to delegate without compliance risk.
The Pre-Market Exposure toolkit equips agents with scripts, talk tracks, and tools to position 'Coming Soon' strategies with sellers. Shows sellers how multi-portal exposure drives early demand and maximizes visibility before a home officially hits the market. Built to give sellers a competitive edge while staying compliant with MLS rules.
ONE eXp is the company's global community of 50,000+ agents and staff with 16+ resource groups including the Pride Network, Women's Impact Network, Young Professionals, and many others. Open to every agent — find your community, build relationships, and engage with peers who share your background, interests, or goals.
The Agent State Resource Guide is a centralized hub of state-specific resources at eXp — meetings, training sessions, compliance courses, and state contact information for agent support. Especially useful for agents licensed in multiple states or relocating between markets.
SUCCESS Lending is the joint venture mortgage company between eXp World Holdings and industry legend Glenn Stearns (founder of Stearns Lending). It's a fully integrated mortgage solution built specifically for eXp Realty agents and their clients — designed to make the financing side of every transaction faster, smoother, and more aligned with the agent. Offers FHA, VA, Conventional, Jumbo, USDA, and Manufactured home loans. Agents get direct access to dedicated loan officers who understand the eXp model. Optional referral compensation: Agents who refer qualified loan officers (LOs) to SUCCESS Lending may be eligible for referral bonuses up to $10,000. Using SUCCESS Lending is completely optional — you can use any lender. It doesn't affect commission splits or revenue share.
As of April 15, 2026, eXp agents can syndicate 'Coming Soon' listings (with seller authorization and MLS compliance) to three major national portals: Realtor.com (62M+ monthly unique visitors), Homes.com (108M+ monthly unique visitors across the network), and ComeHome.com (Google Search integration). Distribution happens through Zenlist, an integrated third-party listing distribution platform (iOS and Android apps available). This is a significant competitive advantage — most brokerages restrict pre-market exposure to internal networks. eXp's philosophy: if a home is being marketed, consumers should be able to see it. The Pre-Market Exposure Toolkit gives agents the talk tracks and tools to position this strategy with sellers.
The eXp Referral Division lets agents step back from active selling while still earning income on referrals. You hold a referral-only license and refer clients to other agents (eXp or non-eXp) for a percentage of their commission. Splits in Referral Division: 75/25 on referrals to eXp agents; 70/30 on referrals to non-eXp agents. No cap, no ICON status. You keep: Your same sponsor, your full Libertas benefits (if you have a Libertas Partner sponsor), your ability to earn revenue share, and you can keep building your downline. You lose: Access to MLS, kvCORE, and the ability to handle full transactions. Perfect for agents who want to retire from active selling but keep collecting revenue share and referral fees. Contact your state broker team to make the switch.
The Active Listing Kit is eXp's done-for-you marketing package for active listings, accessed through the eXp Marketing Center. Features include:
Drastically cuts time spent on listing marketing setup.
The Listing Presentation Kit is a carefully crafted package empowering eXp agents to present a property's comprehensive marketing strategy during seller appointments. Helps agents secure listings with confidence and create a professional first impression. Accessed through the eXp Marketing Center. Pairs well with the Active Listing Kit (what happens after you win the listing). Together they form a complete listing-side marketing system that costs nothing extra.

The Libertas Partner who brings you in becomes your sponsor at eXp Realty — so this matters.
A Libertas Partner is a Libertas | eXp Realty agent who actively sponsors new agents into the group. Every Libertas Partner has their own personalized recruiting site (whylibertas.com/[name]) with their photo, contact info, and cell number. When you join Libertas through a Libertas Partner, that partner becomes your sponsor at eXp Realty — and you get the full Libertas benefit stack ($40,000+ value) automatically. Many Libertas Partners have specific local expertise, niche specialties, or community angles. You can choose the partner who fits you best.
Each Libertas Partner has their own personalized site at whylibertas.com/[name] — for example, whylibertas.com/dan. Every Libertas Partner's cell phone number is listed directly on their personalized site (whylibertas.com/[their name]). Look for it on the homepage — it's prominently displayed for direct contact. Most Libertas Partners prefer texts to calls for the initial conversation.
Boost is eXp's financial incentive program for independent brokerages joining eXp Realty. Qualifying brokerages must have 50+ agents and at least $100 million in sales volume over the prior 12 months. Cannot be affiliated with a non-independent franchise. Once approved, the brokerage gets financial incentives plus access to stock equity, no overhead, reduced liability, brokerage support, agent services, and revenue share. The exact financial incentive is at eXp's discretion based on the brokerage's culture and performance.
Accelerate is eXp's incentive program for high-producing individual agents joining eXp Realty. Similar concept to Boost but for solo agents rather than entire brokerages. Designed to ease the financial transition for established top producers moving from a traditional brokerage.
If you own an independent brokerage, eXp offers the Boost Program with real financial incentives to make the move. You eliminate overhead, brokerage liability, and franchise fees while gaining stock equity, revenue share, and 2,000+ cloud-based eXp employees handling support. Many brokerage owners find their economics dramatically improve. Visit ExpRealtyGrowth.com or if you're already working with a Libertas Partner, text them directly (cell on their site); if not, text Tim Harris at 512-758-0206 — Libertas works with brokerage owners considering the move regularly.
Yes. eXp has been recognized as an industry leader on NAR settlement compliance. The Buyer Representation Toolkit includes the buyer-broker representation agreement (praised by the Consumer Federation of America as an example worth emulating), the updated listing agreement (no commission-sharing language), seller compensation guidance, scripts, talking points, and presentation slides. eXp made the toolkit publicly available — even non-eXp agents can use the forms.
The 'From Day One' compliance toolkit gives every eXp agent quick-access resources, best practices, and clear guidance for staying compliant from the moment they activate at eXp. Your state broker is also available for state-specific contract and legal questions, and there's an on-call weekend broker in most states.
eXp's Buyer-Broker Representation Agreement was praised by the Consumer Federation of America (CFA) as 'fundamentally pro-consumer' and 'a model for how Realtor organizations and brokerages can craft an agreement that is much more understandable and fairer to everyday buyers.' It's only two pages, written in plain English, and doesn't contain waivers of buyer legal rights — a significant contrast to many state Realtor association forms (e.g., the California Association of Realtors form was called 'virtually unreadable' by a University at Buffalo law professor). eXp made the forms publicly available for any agent at any brokerage to use, free. That's the toolkit at exptoolkit.com/buyerrepresentation.
eXp provides a complete set of NAR-settlement-compliant forms, available free for any agent (eXp or not) at exptoolkit.com:
eXp's CEO Leo Pareja famously said: 'I did not wake up this year thinking we were going to be in the forms business' — but eXp built them to fill the void left by slow-moving state associations.
The FCC's one-to-one consent rule (effective January 27, 2025) closes the 'lead generator loophole' in the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). What it means: When you get a lead from a third-party source (Zillow, Realtor.com, comparison sites, lead gen platforms, etc.), the consumer must have given explicit consent for YOUR specific brand to contact them via call or text — not blanket consent for 'multiple sellers.' Why it matters: Texting or calling leads where you don't have one-to-one written consent exposes you to TCPA violations and lawsuits. Penalties can be $500-$1,500 per unwanted call or text. eXp's Lead Protection Toolkit at exptoolkit.com/leadprotection helps agents adjust lead gen practices to stay compliant. Bottom line: if you buy leads, verify the lead source captures one-to-one consent with your specific brand named.
Revenos is eXp Realty's in-house lead and referral division — and it's one of the most underrated benefits at eXp. In 2024 alone, Revenos leads helped eXp agents generate over $2 billion in closed sales. It's a full-fledged lead engine, not a generic lead drip. Leads are matched to certified agents based on experience and specialty. Most operate on a pay-at-closing referral model — so leads are free upfront. You only pay when a deal closes. No upfront ad spend, no monthly lead subscription fees. Training and certifications are free to all eXp agents.
Revenos has 8 specialized lead programs you can certify for:
Pick the ones that fit your business. Training and certification are free for all eXp agents.
Most Revenos leads operate on a pay-at-closing referral model — meaning leads are free upfront. You only pay a referral fee when a deal actually closes. This is completely different from traditional lead vendors that charge $200-$2,000+/month whether you close or not. Specific referral fee percentages vary by program — Relocation typically runs 35-40% on the first transaction, others vary. Most agents find Revenos pays for itself many times over once they certify and start receiving matched leads.
